If you enter through the main entrance: head towards the right through the walkway and the gymnasium is on the left hand side (look out for the First Gym …morenastics Flags).
If you enter through the back entrance: head down towards the school and the gymnasium is on the left hand side.
Parents and Guardians are asked to stay for the first trial class to ensure children are settled and also to see what we do. Ongoing we wouldn't expect parents/guardians to stay in the room, other than at half termly viewing sessions.
Please ensure your child is wearing clothing suitable for sport such as t shirt/shorts/leotard/leggings/joggers. Long hair should be tied back and no jewellery please. Participation is with bare feet and please bring a drink but not food.

This class is suitable for children aged 4 - 5 years. CHILDREN MUST BE IN FULL TIME SCHOOL SO HAVE TURNED 4 BEFORE 1 SEPTEMBER 2025
The class is independent of parents and guardians (other than the first trial class and any specified viewing sessions) so it’s important that children are able to follow instructions and comfortable to be in the class without their grown up. We understand that it can sometimes be daunting at first, so our friendly and experienced coaches are there to help settle any nerves.
The class is tailored to this foundation stage, with an emphasis on variety and engagement. We will work towards and develop core Gymnastics skills and use different apparatus each week such as bars, vault, trampettes and airtracks, always in a fun, creative and imaginative way.
With this young age group we will also dedicate time to developing important physical and social capabilities (also known as POWERS) such as strength, coordination, confidence and communication.
Progress with skills and demonstration of our values will be rewarded with certificates, stickers and medals.
We have a specific set of age appropriate objectives around: Understanding, Skills and Behaviours. Our aim is always to work towards these with our SMILE, MOVE, GROW values at the forefront. This means children have fun and are safe, they are active and engaged and they learn and progress.
Price:
£34.75 per month
This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: First Gymnastics weekly sessions run in accordance with school term time (usually 39 weeks of the year) Your payment plan covers all fees for the year and includes any awards earned. These fees are split into 12 affordable payments therefore fees are still due during term holidays. The number of sessions in a month will vary depending on school holiday dates but the fees will remain the same every month. These fees are taken out on the 1st of every month. If you join mid-month, after your free trial we will set up a covering payment for the remaining sessions booked that month. This will be taken in addition to your monthly fees on the 1st of the month. There are no weekly classes during the month of August. Fees will still be taken on 1st August and will secure a First Gymnastics Goody Pack for your child to be given out in September.
CANCELLATION: You are able to cancel at any time. You just need to inform us by e mail (chloe@firstgymnastics.uk) 28 days before your next payment is due on 1st of the month.
